Printing the detail of an Image and Metadata Using Microsoft® Word with Insight® JVA Client 5.0

To print details and image descriptive data (metadata) together, double click an image to put it into the Image Workspace, select the part of the image that you want to look at as a detail, using the Zoom In icon.

Use the back arrow at the bottom of the control panel to go back to the group or collection and double click on the image again.

Now you have detail and the whole image in the Image Workspace. To open the image metadata, click on the Descriptive Data icon (left side, second from the top of the control panel). The illustration below shows the Image Workspace as it was created. The detail of the dog's head is in the upper left hand corner. The entire image is in the lower left hand corner and the metadata is on the right side of the Image Workspace.

Use your desktop keyboard Print Screen button to capture the Image Workspace contents. Open a Microsoft® Word from your desktop and start a new document.

Go to Edit along the toolbar at the top and select paste from the menu.

You can save the Image Workspace contents: the whole image, the detail and the metadata in the Word document for later use. The Word document, shown below, can also be printed.
