The Luna Insight® Personal Collection software is intended for classroom and/or research use. The images added as personal collections are stored only for the required use period and they do not become part of the permanent Luna Insight collection.

The Libraries assist with the preparation of a Personal Collection by handling the initial setup, establishing a user account, and offering training and documentation. The collection provider is responsible for scanning and uploading images, creating descriptive data, and maintaining the collection. All intellectual property issues are the responsibility of the collection provider. Because of storage demands, users are generally limited to 500 images.

Luna Insight® Personal Collections do not allow images to be created at very high resolutions, MrSid images. If having high-resolution images available is a requirement of yours then a Luna Insight® Personal Collection is not the right choice for you.
