Zooming with the Insight® Browser 5.0 or the JVA Client 5.0 For the purposes of reviewing images for exams or for writing papers, you may sometimes wish to zoom in on part of an image and look at it more closely. You can easily do this in the Image Workspace and you can save the image and the zoomed in portion of the image together. First, to zoom in on part of an image, select the image you want to study from the group or collection by double-clicking on it. This moves the image into the Image Workspace. Once the image is in the Image Workspace, you can use the zoom in icon from the control panel (magnifying glass with a plus sign) to click on a part of the image you wish to see in detail. After you click on that part of the image, you use the mouse cursor to draw a box around the area you are interested in. Click and the enlarged portion of the image will appear in the Image Workspace. Go back to the group or collection and double-click on the image you selected to move the whole image into the Image Workspace again (Please note that you cannot load multiple images in the same workspace in the browser version).
Now you have the detail and the whole image in the Image Workspace. Use the Links box to link the detail of the image to the whole image. |
